I thoroughly enjoyed the book, and especially its ties with the first book (Trapping A Duchess). My only wish is that Ms Bekemeyer would continue this "series" with a few more volumes. The groundwork and foundation has been laid for many more adventures featuring this "cast of characters", and it would be a shame to have it ebd here. :-)Product details

This was a quick read, the second in a series. Since I enjoyed the first book I read this book right away. The story was interesting and I liked the hero and heroine as well as other characters from the first book. I am looking forward to the next book.
This was a very good read. Characters from the first book are in this one which is nice. Alex and Charles are good characters so you want them to have their HEA. This book has great secondary characters, hoping books about them are coming soon.
loved it. This book was every bit as good as the first one. Alex and Charles story kept my interest. The characters from book one were revisited in this one too. There was intrigue, and lots of heat between the two leads.Also a great opening for the story of Gabriel the brother in the spy business with his new bride.
I would recommend this book in the series hoping to see Gabriel's series next . I'm glad that Gabriel was Alexander's hero
The storyline crossed over from the first book very smoothly and drew me in instantly. The characters all still held your interest and made you fall in love with them all over again. Of course we had our villains, which always makes for a better read.
She has action and several things going on at once as well as hints of what it to come in future books. I think that is what makes her good.
I really enjoyed the first book in the series and in this sequel we get to revisit the characters she managed to endear us to in such a short time. I would say that this book strays more into the territory of action adventure suspense than romance. The relationship between Alex and Charles is a bit tepid and (distracted?)compared with the fireworks of Sophie and Andrew. You find yourself more impressed with and interested in Gabriel's spinoff overall. Really hope she gets to write a story for Gabriel next. And it better be hot! Also Courtland needs some resolution. Maybe Simon and Elisa too.
